in order to comply with New York State’s Building Codes. These codes govern
the workmanship, quality and requirements for the materials covered.

observation of work requiring special inspection.

Structural Steel – All CWI inspection will be performed by Davis Inspection
Services, Inc.
Inspectors are certified for ASNT Levels II and III.
This laboratory is in general conformance with ASTM C1077, D3740 and E329
with the exception of the requirement for a full time staff professional engineer.
However, John P. Stopen Engineering Partnership is closely associated with
PW Laboratories, Inc. and will review documents and practices as required.
PW Laboratories, Inc.’s laboratory is currently under direction of a NICET
Senior Engineering Technician-Certified Level IV in the Construction Materials
Testing Subfields of Concrete, Soils and Bituminous Materials.
Test Methods are performed in accordance with ASTM Standards, AASHTO,
FAA, NYSDOT, Penn Dot, and Corps of Engineers as applicable.
